Stand Hold and Swing – No More Golf slice

In your group of friends I would bet the house on the fact that the most common error in yours and their golf game is that frustrating slice.

If you practice some well-known techniques you’ll get rid of that slice in no time at all and bring the fun back into the game of Golf (that assuming a little or a lot of the fun is gone because of the slice.). Keep in mind that even minor changes to the way you stand, grip the club and your swing rotation will improve your slice to the extent that it may even totally correct the slice.

One minor change to your stance can go miles to force yourself not to swing with a slice. Of course we all know that your right foot must angle straight out from your body. It’s the left food (right food for a left handed golfer) that should be adjusted so that it is to the left about two inches at the tow that can be adjusted so that you have less a tendency to swing a slice.

Additionally, making sure that your shoulders are straight parallel to the direction you want to hit the ball and not turning them from their parallel position will keep you from forcing a slice.
You know how to hold a club and if you have a slice you may want to practice small changes at the driving range to the way you hold the club to find the sweet spot that doesn’t cause you to slice the ball. Here’s what you do, roll your hands back so that your non dominant back hand faces the target and your dominant back hand faces the opposite direction.
A proper fluid golf downswing begins with your hips, keeping your eyes on the ball and your head behind the ball as you follow through. If you’ve first corrected the way you hold your hands and your arms and shoulders are in the right position and working together in one fluid motion you can’t help but cure that slice particularly when you’ve also implemented the left toe being opened left about 2-4 inches at the toe.
