Achieve The Golf Swing Of A Pro

free golf swing analysisI think we’ve all found right from the beginning of our golf games that developing the perfect or even a decent golf swing takes valuable time and tons of practice. Watching a pro or excellent amateur and taking note of everything he or she does is also a good resource for modeling a good swing. I’ve made some suggestions below that should help.

1. You might naturally believe that the power to get your golf ball flying successfully comes from the wrists and arms. Facts are that you use your whole body when you swing to get the most power out of your shot.   To begin to swing right and with the power you want you should practice hitting the ball using your torso and legs. When you practice and make a habit out of using the whole body, you will see that your shots produce more consistently accurate and powerful shots.

2.While you are practicing by using your torso and legs, you need to swivel your shoulders perfectly the same each time you do a back swing. Also your right forearm should be parallel to your spine and your left wrist is flat by the time you reach the end of your back swing.  If you can envision what I’m talking about you will have done it right when  your elbows and arms  form a triangle at the top of your swing.

These things will get you started swinging correctly and my next post will be about how you can further tweek your swing to make it more accurate without the typical very small mistakes people make.

Get out there and practice so you can understand more of what I’m talking about in the next post.
